Spring Camp update, new ICC + more!

Camp Theme: Feed Your Game

"One sensei makes you larger And one sifu makes you small And the ones that master gives you Don't do anything at all Go ask the SBGi when you're ready to roll."

This year's Spring Camp is being hosted by our CA gym located in beautiful Berkeley, CA. Berkeley has lots to do and see, and is just a few minutes away from America's most popular tourist destination, San Francisco, CA!

Scheduled for March 23-25, the Spring Camp will include instruction by some of SBGi's top coaches who will be traveling from all over the globe. Dozens of international students will also be in attendance.

Take your game to the next level! This year's camp will showcase techniques, drills and strategies designed to further integrate your existing game and improve your transitions and flow into advantageous positions be they in stand up, clinch or ground.

- Matt Thornton (Portland OR, SBGi President & BJJ black belt)

- Luis Gutierrez (Florida, SBGi VP & BJJ black belt): So-Flo™ Jiu-jitsu solo & partner exercises, drills, and set ups to improve transitions, escapes and positions off of passes & scrambles.

- Karl Tanswell (England, SBGi RD) cutting edge MMA material!

- John Kavanaugh (Ireland, SBGi RD) Matrix Jits!

- Eric Hemphill (BJJ Black Belt and Portland SBGi Coach) BJJ for MMA and no gi!

+ Plus many other SBGi Coaches and Instructors from the headquarters in Portland, and from around the globe!

As we speak our Berkeley crew is also organizing some non-martial-arts events for spouses who may wish to attend, so why not make it a family weekend? Book that weekend off and join in the fun!
